Dr. Mitchell J. Silver is Board Certified in Vascular Medicine, Endovascular Medicine, Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. Dr. Silver received his Doctor of Osteopathy from Ohio University’s College of Medicine and went on to complete his training in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Vascular Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He is a Fellow at the American College of Cardiology and the Society of Vascular Medicine and Biology. Dr. Silver is Director of Vascular Imaging at the McConnell Heart Hospital for Critical Limb Care and has research interests in carotid artery disease, difficult to control hypertension and lower extremity peripheral arterial disease. Dr. Silver is published in numerous medical journals and textbooks. Dr. Silver has been with MidOhio Cardiology and Vascular Consultants since 2000 and has over 20 years of practice experience. He prides himself in approaching his patients’ problems in a “global” cardiovascular approach with attention to all aspects of cardiac and vascular care.
